Water staining in Schofields homes
On a single Schofields pre-purchase inspection we recorded staining four separate times: under kitchen cabinetry twice, and slight staining in two further locations, alongside evidence of leaking and a dripping tap. A stain is not itself a defect. It is a record that water has been somewhere it should not, and the only question worth asking is whether it still is. A historic leak, properly repaired, is a note in a report. An active one is a reason to renegotiate.
